Informations taken this Third day of
June 1791 at the Parish of St. George Hour
Square within the Liberty of Westmr.
in the County of Midsex upon an Inquest
touching the death of
lying dead in the said Parish Liberty
and County.

William Pixley< no role > of South Audley Street in the
Parish of St. George Hanover Square Baker on
his Oath saith, That he was Walking in Hyde
Park Yesterday Morning between four and five
o' Clock and saw a Hat and a Stick lying by it
On the Shore by the side of the Serpentine River
in Hyde Park , Suspecting that some body was
there Drowned Dept. acquainted Mr. Moore
the Deputy Rangers Family and one of his
Servants went with Dept. to the River side
where the Hat was laid, and he [..] inderst [..] d
that they afterwards Dragged the River, and
being informed that the Body of the Deced was
taken out of the River Dept. went to [..]
found that he was Drowned but observed no
Marks of violence upon the Deced, nor did he
appear to have begin long Drowned, Says
that he did not know the Deced, nor which
Way he became Drowned.

Michael Jones< no role > Constable of Hyde Park on his
Oath saith That Yesterday Morning he was
informed that a Hat and Stick were found
by Mr. Pixley by the side of the Serpentine River
in Hyde Park , Says that Mr. Pixley shewed
him the Place and the Drags were used,
and they brought the Deced out of the
Serpentine River to the Shore in the Parish
of St. George Hanover Square , Says that he
observed no Mark of violence upon the Deced
nor does he now how he became Drowned
Says that he found four Shillings and six pence
in Silver and there pence half Penny in Copper
