the Deponent immediately jumped over the Counter
and fetched the Box inMrsMillsWills said she should
like to know what was in it, but they being very
busy in the Shop the Box was not directly opened and
Mr. Wills went awayafterwards Deponent pastly
opened the Lid of the Box, did not ses the Child, the
Box being deep and something of on Cloth appearing, but
his Master and others in the House that saw the Box
having a suspicion that then was a Child in the Box
they sent for a Beadle of the Parish, who came, and
a Dead Child being found therein, the Bedel took it away.
and he believes carried it to the Workhouse .
