Informations taken his Eighteenth day
of January 1700 at the Parish of St. George Hanr.
Square within the Liberty of Westmr. in the
County of Midsex upon an Inquisition touching
the death of alying dead in the
said Parish Liberty and County.

Michael Jones< no role > Constable of Hyde Park in the
Parish of St. George Hanover Square on his Oath
saith That on Saturday last the Sixteenth of
this Instant January. George Jones< no role > this Dept.
son and another Person pulled the Body of
a Man unknown out of the Sarpen the
River in Hyde Parish in the said Parish
of St. George Hanover Square Says that he
their came to the side of the Apprentice
River saw the Deced who appeared to
have been in the River about nine
days or a fortingnt, but Dept. observed
no Marks of violence upon the Deceased
Says that the Deced had a Coat Wastcoat
Breeches Shop and Stockings on, but no
Shirt or Hat Says that he Searched the
Deced's Pockets and in his Wastcoat Pocket
found three half pence and a farthing and
a Tobacco Box, and took the Deced Shoe Bucker
and Hace Buckles, which were not made
of Silver, Says that he sent to Mr. Storer
Undertaken for the Parish to acquaint him
of the Body lying dead in the Park, and he
sent some People there who carried the Body
away in a shell to the Parish Bone house
where Dept. this day saw the Body.
