Informations taken this Twenty
third day of September 1789 at the
Parish of St. George Hanover Square
within the Liberty of Westmr in
the County of Middlesex upon an
Inquisition touching the death of
Thomas Morris< no role > lying dead in the
said Parish Liberty and County.

John Griffiths< no role > a Lodger at Mr Keafle in
Knightsbridge Carpenter on his Oath saith
That he was Yesterday at work for Mr Grant
upon a House in Piccadilly in the Parish of St.
George Hanr. Square, Says that between five a six
o' Clock Dept was with Thomas Morris< no role > the Deced
in a Vault in the front of the said House
Says that the Abutment had given Way, that
the Deced was striking the Centre before a
Shore was put up, That the Crown of the
Arch fell in upon the Deced, Says that
the Deced thereby reced mortal Bruises
in and upon his Head, and a Freeman
upon his right Leg, Says that the Deced
did not afterwards speal but died
immediately, and Says that it happened
merely Accidental
