Door he Deceased being on the out side Deponent Says

he had none - Brooks the Constable of the Night who
came a bout half an hour after Eleven had sent some
Liquor before he came, but it not being ked, the Dept.
went out to fetch Six penny worth of Crank, and same
the Deceased standing by a Tree near the Watch House
and on Deponent coming back with the Crank Deponent [..] said My Freind what are you here-the Deceased said
Yes Poor Jack- Deponent says there more Some Women

then heard the Deceased say to the Woman Come here to

Watch House they would let poor Jack Inn-Ashdon the

his Business, he had been an Expence to the Parish in
being Passed to his Parish Deceased repeated Knocking
Several times. asking to be let in, but Ashdon said he
Should not come in says Brooks the Constable of the
Night came about Twelve o'Clock, Staid about an Hour

little after Two o'Clock the Deceased was brought to the
Watch House agamby Moore and Mowbray, Patroles
Saying the Deceased was a Poor Distressed Man [..] and he must he there
and put him down by the Armed Chest near the Five, the
Deceased appeared to be worse then before-the Deponent
was then only in the Watch House-Ashdon the Bedel
being gone to Mr. Milleners the Northumberland Arms
Public House in the Sanctuary , the Patroles went away
and the Deponent and the Deceased remained together
in the Watch House, in about a quarter of on Hour
Ashdon returned and Said to the Deceased he Should not
be there and twined him out again-the Deceased desired
he might stay there, but Ashdon sent Ha should not
and twined him out [..] taking him under the Arms
foreing him out Shutting the Door the Deceased
afterwards Said he was very cold wished to he let
in, but tue was not-About Five o'Clock in the Morning
the Deceased was brought into the Watch House again
by Knight a Patrole and Several other Patroles, the
Deceased was carried by them, the Patroles said they had
brought a poor Distressed Man in and from the inclemency
