Informations taken this Twenty fourth
day of June 1788 at the Parish of St.
John the Evangelist within the Liberty
of Westmr . in the County of Midsex upon
an Inquisition touching the death of a Man
unknown lying dead in the said Parish
Liberty and County.

John Ramsay< no role > of Princes Street Lambeth Fisghbourne
on his Oath saith That Yesterday Morning about
three o'Clock this Dept. Bowed his Boat from Lambeth
to the Horse Fearing Westmr. and made it fast there
That he then saw something drive up with
the Tide in the River Thames and he saw
that it was the Deced, upon which he called
John Redding< no role > a Watch maker & acquainted
him there with but, the Watchman said
that he could not come down into the
Mud, Says that the Body drove to the
[..] and Dept. fastened him to the
Boat, & desired the Watchman to Cook to
him, and Dept. went to get some Worms
and returned to the Deced about five
o'Clock, and soon after got the Deced to
that shore in the Parish of St. John the
Evangelist the Deced being dead but
did not appear to have been many
hours in the Walter, and Says that
he saw no Marks of violence upon the
Deced.

John Lenox< no role > at Mr. West Coopre in the
Horse Henry Road Westmr. on her Oath saith
That he saw the Deced upon Mill Bank on Sunday last
between three and four in the Afternoon
