Informations taken this Tenth
day of June 1788 at the Knightsbridge
in the Parish of St. Margaret within
the Liberty of Westmr. in the County of
Midsex upon an Inquisition touching
the death of William Brunton< no role > lying
dead in the said Parish Liberty and
County.

John Hitch< no role > Victualler at the Sign of
Kings Head at Knightsbridge on his Oath
saith That about Eight o'Clock William
Brunton
< no role > the Deced come in to Dept. to made to Eat
his Breakfast of Cold Veal which he Eat
Excepting some fat which he said he could
not Eat, and gave it to Dept. who took
it away, leaving the Deced in the Room
alone, Says that he returned to the Deced
in about a Quarter of an hour and four [..]
the Deced lying on his face on the [..]
Speechless, Says that he spoke to the Deced
but had no Answer, and Dept. thought that he Says
that Mr. Williams the Apothecary was fetched
who attempted to blood the Deced beet Deced
did not bleed and Mr. Williams pronounced
him dead, Says that he was in the lower
part of the House and saw us Person go
into the Room to Deced, and believes that
no Person went there. Says that he called
in Mr. Knight a Neighbour with saw the
Deced.
