then attempted to disarm the Deponent of his Fire lock
and Bayonet, the Deponent presenting the Price to him
telling him he should shoot him thro' the Body or
blow his Brains out if he did not go awayDeceased
replied Dam your Eyes Fire away Deceased then went
to he front Door of the House and kicked and smacked
at the DoorA Man of the name of Danby who sleeps
at the Dutchess of Kingston's House at Knights bridge
(and who had come to Mrs. Drake's at the time that
Knight came in when the Deceased also rushed in)
went to the front Door of the House where the Deced
was, and took hold of him, the Deceased slapped
Danby in the Face, and immediately laid hold of the
Deponent's Firelock and tried to wrest it from him
Knight was at this time about a Yard or [..] a Yard and a half from
where the Deceased and Deponent and Danby were
struggling [..] togetherand at this instant Knight
fired off his Blunderbuss, and the Deceased reeled
against the DoorDeponent thinks that Knight
Fired the Blunderbuss with an intent to Kill the
Deceased, but believes that both himself and Danby
were in danger from the Firing of the Blunderbuss
the Deceased bled from a wound in the Thigh which
Deponent believes he received from the Discharge of
the Blunderbussthe Patrole and Watchman hearing
the Report of the Blunderbuss come to the Gate, and
Deponent let them in, and they took the Deceased
away to St. George's Hospital , and Knight to Sir
Sampson Wright< no role > 's together with the Blunderbuss

Christopher Danby< no role > who sleeps at the Dutchess of
Kingston's at Knightsbridge by way of Protection
to the House, on his Oath saith that on Tuesday
the 9th. of October instant about half an hour after Ten
o'Clock as he was crossing over to Mrs. Drake's House
at Knightsbridge in his way home to the Dutchess
of Kingston's he saw a Man at Mrs. Drake's Gate
pulling at the Gate with great violence and he thought
he meant to pull the Gate down, Deponent desired
and intreated him to go away, but the Deceased made
no
