Twenty fifth day of September 1787
at the parish of St. George Hanover
Square within the Liberty of Westmr .
in the County of Midsex upon the
Inquisition touching the death of
James Gogin< no role > lying dead in the
said Parish Liberty and County

Charles Montagu< no role > House Surgeon at St. George's
Hospital in the parish of St. George Hanover
Square on his Oath saith That on Thursday
last of Sept 20th.) as Dept. the [..] James Gogin
the Deced was brought to said Hospital as
an Accident appearing to Dept. to have
been Drinking Says that the Deced's
Breast Borre [..] & Pass was Togethered the Left Leg
and Feet Lace rated part of the Right Ear torn
from the Head, says that all proper care
was taken of the Decedbutin the Hospital
but he died there on Saturday the
Twenty second Instant says that the
Deced said That he reced his Hurt by a
Cart, and that he called out but the Horses
went on, and Deced said that he was
Murdered that day, And Dept. says that
he believes the Deced died in consequence
of the Injury above mentioned

Joseph How< no role > a Lodger at Mr. Pearce
in Kentick Town on his Oath south That
on Thursday last about four o' Clock in
the Afternoon James Barns< no role > was driving
a Horse drawing a Load of Hay out of
the Hay Market into the said belonging to
the Cock Inn in the Parish of St. James
