believes that the Deced Hanged herself
Says that this Morning Miss Edwards and
this Dept. found two Letters in a Drawer
in Deced's Room of Deced's own hand writing
as Dept. believes & Signed by her one directed to Mr. Archer
and the other to Miss Hastings, Says that
the Deced was at times very uneasy
about Mr. Archer and said in Dept. [..] at times hearing
that if Mr. Archer was not kind to her
it would drive her to Distraction, and
Dept. believes that the Deced was at times
Disordered in her Mind.

Wm. Combe< no role >

Thomas James< no role > of Oxford Street in the Parish
of St. George Hanr. Square Smith on his Oath
saith That this Morning about Ten o'Clock
he was fetched to open o clock at No. 15
in South Molton Street in the same Parish
Says that he went and picked a Lock
on the First Floor, upon which Mr. Combe
went into the Room and was followed by
Mrs. Combe of Miss Edwards, That Mrs. Combe
cryed out I am ruined upon which Dept.
went into the Room and saw the Deced
Hanging in a Closet there by a White Garter
which Mrs. Combe act with a Knife and
Deced was laid upon the Floor, the Deced
being dead and Cold, and Dept Saysthat
that the Room Door' was Locked
