Informations taken this fourth day
of June 1787 at the Parish of St. Anne
with in the Liberty of Westmr in the County
of Middlesex upon an Inquisition
touching the death of Margaret Rush< no role >
lying dead in the said Parish
Liberty and County.

Thomas Brown< no role > of Wardour Street Surgeon
on his Oath saith That last Night between
Eleven and Twelve o' Clock an hearing of
an Accident having happened to a Woman
in the Paviour's Arms Yard in the same Street
Dept. went there and found Margaret Rush< no role >
the Deced lying in the Stable yard near
the Foot of a Ladder, dead, one End of
the Ladder being in a Haylost, Says
that the Deced had a slight Wound in
the forehead and on Examining the Deced
to day he found a considerable Bruise
on the left Temple, which he apprehends
the Deced reced by a fall from the Ladder
upon the Stone Pavement in the Yard, and
thinks that the fall was caused by some
fit which the Deced was Seized with.

William Whake< no role > of the Black Lyon Berwork
Street Vertue in the Parish of St [..] Oath saith That
last Night Thomas Rush< no role > Son to the Deced, took a Candle and
went to feed his Horse in Paviours Arms
Yard in Wardour Street , and returned
very soon Saying that his Mother was dead
in the Yard, upon which Dept. went to the
Deced who lay in the Yard at the foot of
the Ladder being dead but not quite Cold
