of Mr. Lermor the Ship on Milbank
this Day about twelve
o'Clock, and the Deceased was Searched by Mr. Plumridge one
of the Bearers of the Said Parish, and in his Pocket way
found on Iron Picklock, a Gun Flint, a Clasp Knife and a
Tobacco Pouch-Deponent has not heard that any Person has
owned or knew the Deceased-the Body appeared not having
been in the Water.

Saith that about half after five o'Clock this Evening he Saw three
Meninwith two Boots, they were on Shore and Haild him, and
asked him if he had heard of any Person that had been Drowned
the Deponent Said he had heard of a Person that way Drowned
they asked what Lort of a Person he was, but the Deponent
made no Answer fearing they might use him Ill, two of
the Men Lifted up the Mat that lay or the Timber which
had carved the Deceds face in the Morning-the Man that
hold him was a lusty tall Man and seemed to have a Rob
coloured [..] great Coat and thinks he should know him if
he Saw him again, the other two Men who were twining that
Mat was at two great a distance to distinguish then Dress.
