Informations of Witnesses taken upon Oath this
7th. day of November 1786 , at the Dwelling House
of Mr. Richard Hatch< no role > known by the Sign of the
Barley Mow in the Broad Sanctury in the Parish
of St. Margaret Westminster , Before Thomas
Prickard
< no role > Gentleman His Majesty's Coroner
for the City and Liberty of Westminster , on
View of the Body of a Woman Name unknown
then and there lying Dead as follow (to wit)

William Marshman< no role > of Fore Street Lambeth his herman on his
Oath saith that between 6 and 7 o'Clock this Morning, as he was
in his Boat he saw the Deceased lying on the Shone in the Manner
opposite to the back of Mr. Langton's House in St. Stephers Court on
the Parish of St. Margaret Martin with her Head and a Small Part of the
Body in the Water, Deponent went and with assistance took her
out of the Water she appeared to be quite Dead and Stiff, the
Deponent then went and acquainted Mr. Brown one of the Bed [..]
of the Parish. Deponent does not know who the Deceased is.
