An Inquisition Indented. taken for our Sovereign Lord the
King at the Parish of Saint Martin in the Fields
within the Liberty of the Dean and Chapter of the Collegiate Church of St. Peter , Westminster ,
in the County of Middlesex , the Twenty sixth day of August in the Twenty Sixth
Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third, by the Grace of God, of
Great-Britain, France and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, and so forth, before Thomas
Prickard
< no role > , Gentleman, Coroner of our said Lord the King for the said City and Liberty, on
View of the Body of Ann Lowrey< no role > then and there lying dead, upon

good and lawful Men of the said Liberty, duly
chosen, who being then and there duly sworn and charged to enquire for our said Lord the
King, when, how, and by what Means the said Ann Lowrey< no role > came to
h er Death, do upon their Oath say, That the said Ann Lowrey laboring under of
grievous Disease of Body, to wit, a Fever,and by reason of the Violence of the said Disease, being
delicious and out of her Mind on the Twenty fourth day of August in the Year aforesaid at the
Parish and in the Liberty and County aforesaid into a certain Tub of Water in the Collar or lower
Apartment of the Dwelling House or Lodging of her the said Ann Lowrey situate in Chandor's Street
did throw and last herself by means whereof she the said Ann Lowrey< no role > so delicious and out of her
Mind as a aforesaid was and there Suffocated and Drowned of which said Suffocation and
Drowning she the said Ann Lowney then and there Died. And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their
Oath aforesaid do say that the said Ann Lowrey< no role > in manner and by the means aforesaid being
delicious and out of her Mind as aforesaid by reason of the Violence of the Disease aforesaid
did Kill herself. In Witness whereof as well the said Coroner as the Foreman of the Jurors
aforesaid on behalf of himself and the rest of the said Jurors have to this Inquisition set their
Hands and Seals the Day Year and at the Place abovementioned.
