An Inquisition Indented, taken for our Sovereign Lord the
King at the Parish of Saint George Hanover Square
within the Liberty of the Dean and Chapter of the Collegiate Church of St. Peter, Westminster ,
in the County of Middlesex , the Seventeenth day of August in the twenty sixth
Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third, by the Grace of God, of
Great-Britain, France and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, and so forth, before Thomas

< no role > , Gentleman, Coroner of our said Lord the King for the said City and Liberty, on
View of the Body of John Kelly< no role > then and there lying dead, upon

chosen, who being then and there duly sworn and charged to enquire for our said Lord the
King, when, how, and by what Means the said John Kelly< no role > came to
h is Death, do upon their Oath say , That the said, John Kelly< no role > on the fifteenth
day of July in the year aforesaid, being in the Publick Street or Kings
Highway called Grafton Street , in the Parish aforesaid, within the
Liberty and County aforesaid, And that a certain Ox then in the said Street
with one of his Horns Gored the said John Kelly< no role > in the Right side, by
Means whereof, the said John Kelly< no role > did then and there Accidentally
Casually and by Misfortune receive a Mortal Wound in and upon the Right
side under the Right Breast of him the said John Kelly< no role > of which said
Mortal Wound he the said John Kelly< no role > , at the [..] Parish of Saint George
Hanover Square within the Liberty and County aforesaid, from the said
fifteenth day of July in the Year aforesaid, until the fourteenth day of
August in the same Year did languish and languishing did live on which
said fourteenth day of August in the Year aforesaid, at the Parish and in
the Liberty and County aforesaid, he the said John Kelly< no role > of the mortal
Wound aforesaid, did die. And so the Jurors aforesaid, upon their Oath
aforesaid, do say, That the said John Kelley< no role > Accidentally Casually and
by Misfortune, [..] Manner and by the Means aforesaid, came to his Death,

In Witness whereof as well the said
Coroner , as the said John Munday< no role > Foreman of the said Jurors, on the
behalf of himself and the rest of his Fellows in their Presence have
to this Inquisition set their Hands and Seal the Day Year
and Place above mentioned
