Elizabeth< no role > the Wife of William Gibson< no role > of the
Broad way in the Parish of St. Margaret
Westmr . Stone Mason on her Oath saith That
Edward Roberts< no role > and his wife Catherine Roberts< no role >
the Deced Lodged in Depts. Cellar Says that
they often Quarrelled, and she heard Deced
cry out, and once saw the Deced hit the
Deced's Head against the Wall, Says that
the same day, Deced told Dept. that her
Husband had struck her with his Knee
upon her Breast, and Dept. saw the Deced [..] Head upon the [..] heard the Deced
skream out and ansinted Deced's Breast
with Hart's Horn and Oil, and Dept. some
days after observed the Deced's Breast Yellow
says that she afterwards asked Mr. Roberts
how he came to strike the Deced, and he
said, Dam her, she would not get out of
the way, Says that she cannot say when
this happened, but that it was before Mr.
Roberts reced his Pension at Chelsea Hospital
Says that she advised the Deced to be blooded
and Deced three or four days after that said
she had been blooded, and Deced afterwards
told Dept. that she had Medicines from some
Hospital, Says that the Deced for some time
had a Cough. but cannot say how long, nor
did she ever see the Deced spit Blood, nor
did the Deced ever tell Depont. that she
did spit Blood.

way Westmr. Soldier on her Oath saith that
about two Months ago as Dept. thinks, she
was at a Window in her own Room opposite
to the Cellar wherein Deced lodged, and saw the
Deced sitting at the top of her Cellar Stairs
when her Husband was coming up Stairs
and Deced fell down backwards upon the
Pavement and Mr. Roberts went on towardsintothe

Three Jurrs, and Deced afterwards on the
same day told Dept. that he pushed her
down with his Knee, and Dept. saw
Mrs. Gibson rubbing the Deced with something
but what part of her Dept. cannot tell, the
being in her own Room, Says that she often
saw the Deced afterwards, that she compl [..]
of a Disorder in her Stomach, but never
said that it was owing to any hurt that
she reced from her Husband, nor did
Dept. ever hear that the Deced spit Blood
until the Day that the Deced went into
the work house, being the Ninth Instant [..]
Dept. thinks when Deced told her so, and
that she Coughed very much, and Dept.
considered it to be owing to her Disorder
and not to the hurt she reced when her
Husband pushed her down
