eighth day of February 1786 at
the Parish of St. Margaret within
the Liberty of Westmr. in the County
of Midsex upon an Inquisition
touching the Death of John Thompson< no role >
a Prisoner in Tothill Fields Bridewell

William Flint< no role > a Prisoner in Tothill Fields
Bridewell on his Oath saith That John
Thompson
< no role > the Deced was brought Prisoner
to Tothill Fields Bridewell on the Third
of this Instant appearing to be in perfect
Health, and considred so until about
Eight or Nine days before he died
when he was Seized with a Violent
pain in his Head, and a Shivering
Says, that a Violent Fever came on
which continued until he died's Death
which happened on Saturday Evening
last the Twenty Sixth Instant, Says
that Mr. Hanbury the Apothecary
attended the Deced and sent him
Medicines which Deced took, Says
that the Deced was not ill used by
any Person in the Prison, That he
has his Allowance constantly from the
Governor, who likewise sent the Deced
Wine in his illness and Dept. says
that the Deced died a natural at Death of
the Fever abovementioned.
