of Dept. the Deced was out down by
one of the Prisoners in Dept. presence
the Deced being dead, and Dept.
belives that the Deced Hanged himself
says that the Deced's Wrifts were tied
with a Garter which was fastened to the
waisthand of Deced's Breeches, Says
that he saw the Deced every Day
and has no reason to think that the
Deced was any way Disordered in
his Sences

Tothill Fields Bridewell on his Oath
saith That last NIght before Twelve o' Clock
Dept. went into the Governor's Kitchin
the Deced being their in his own Room
adjoyning to the Kitchin the Key
being in the Lock of the outside of
the Door, and Dept. Locked the Door
Says that a bittle before Twelve o' Clock
Mrs. Fenwick observing that the Maid
had forgot to give Deced the Jug of Milk
for his Tea, said that this Dept. might
give it and Dept. opened the Door &
asked him if he would have it, to which
Deced answered that he had done and
that he was much obliged to him, the
Deced having no Coat [..] on them and
Dept. again locked the Door, Says that
about half after twelve Dept. went into
the Yard to see that all was safe, and
when he returned he observed the
Deced's Candle was put out, and Dept
did not her the deced afterwards, Says
that he Watched there until Seven o' Clock
this

thisMorningEvening and heard no Noise
whatever in said Prison, That he was
afterwards informed that the Deced [..]
was Hanged, and Dept. believes that the
Deced Hanged himself, And Says that
he never, observed the Deced to be
Out of his Senses.
