Informations taken this fifth day
of May 1784 at the Parish of St. George
Hanover Square within the Liberty
of Westminster in the County of Midsex
upon an Inquisition touching the death
of John Neale< no role > lying dead in the said
Parish Liberty and County.

John [..] May< no role > House Surgeon at St.
George's Hospital in the Parish of St. George
Hanover Square on his Oath saith That
John Neale< no role > was brought to said Hospital
on the Third Instant, in the Foreman
as an Accident having a Difficulty in
Breathing and not then able to speak, Says-
that he was informed that a Cart had-
passed over the Deced's Body, and that
Deced died in the Hospital in about
two [..] hours,

William Neale< no role > Servant to Mr. Wheable at
Kensington on his Oath saith That John
Neale
< no role > the Deced (Brother to Dept.) was
Servant to Mary Mattier< no role > at Fulham
That Mrs. Mattier told Dept. That the Deced came
with some Garden Staffto [..] Newgate Market
last Monday Morning, That she ordered
him to Drive the Cart home that Deced
was much in Liquor and she would have
given a Man a Shilling to drive the Cart
through the Town but Deced would not
suffer him, and Deced drove himself
and rode in the Cart That she was informed
the Deced fell out of the Cart and that the
Wheel passed over him near St. Clements
