upon the Deced, Says that he found that the
Deced had a Rupture on the left side, with in little Information with
a Bandage, but not a proper one, which he
be [..] he Cut, Says that the Deced did not complain
to this Dept. of having reced any ill usage
from her Husband, nor was there any thing
appeared on the Body to cause her Death
but think, that the Rupture might cause
her Death, but it does not appear to Dept.
that it was caused by a Blveo

Oath saith That on Tuesday Morning the Tenth
Instant she saw the Deced in her Taproom
having a Black Eye, That on asking her how
it happened, Deced said That her Husband
had given it to her the Night before and that
he had beat her again that Morning, & that
she could not move her Arm, Says that
she Nursed Deced for three Weeks, about a
year & an half ago. and Slept with her, and
that the Deced had there no Bandage on [..] for
a Rupture

Perfumer on her Oath saith that on [..]
[..] Tuesday the [..] Tenth Instant Mary Gunliff< no role >
the Deced came to Dept. House having a Black
Eye which she said her Husband had given
her on Monday Night in Bed, and that he
had [..] her with his Feet Says that Deced
came to her House the next Day Saying that
her Husband had beat her again that Day and
turned her out, That Dept. went to Speak to Mr.
Gunliffe who said That she might come home if she
Pleased, & if she said Nothing to him he would
let her alone, and Deced accordingly went home
Says that some days before Deced told
Dept. that he had beat her upon her
Shoulder with a Fire Shovel, but Dept.
saw no Marks there

Frances Coome< no role > Wife of Joseph Coome< no role > of Leicester
Street Taylor on her Oath Saith, That she
had Worked at Mr. Gunliff the weak before
the last, and that she saw Mr. Gunliff beat
the Deced three different times in one day
with his Hand, in that Week, and that he
pulled her out of the Bar, pulled her Cop off
and bid her go up Stairs, and he would do
for her, but Deced went to Mr. Lacosse
Says that on Thursday the Twelfth instant
Deced told Dept. that her Husband had beat
her, with a Fire Shovel upon the Shoulder
which Dept. saw was black, and said that
he beat her very often in the Night, and
complained of her Side which Deced said was
Black.

Jesse Culver< no role > a Carpenter a Lodger at Mr. Gunliffe on his
Oath saith that he has Lodged there four
Years; Says that Mr. Gunliff and the Deced
had frequent Quarrels and Mr. Gunliffe
some times struck her, Says that he Slept
in the Room over that where in Deced & her
Husband slept on Monday Night the Ninth
Instant but heard no Noise or Quarrelling in
Mr. Gunliffs Room, but next Morning saw
the Deced have a Black Eye, Says that he
did not see Mr. Gunliffe strike the Deced for
three Weeks or a Month last past, nor did
