and this Dept. Says that she asked Deced's [..]
Whether she Knew of Deced's having a
Rupture to which she Answered that
she did not but if she had, it was
a family Disorder.

and twenty houses, and often cause Convulsions
but if she had acquainted him with it, he
might have given her something that might
have been of Service to her, Says that
she laid the Deced out, and that there was
no Part of the Deced black or Discoloured
excepting about the Eye,

on her Oath saith that on Wednesday
last the Eleventh Instant she went to
Mr. Cunliffs for a Pint of Beer, When
she Deced appeared not to be well, and Dept.
asked her if she thought her illness
proceeded from the Blow she reced on her Eye from
her Husbandto which Deced Answered

Portland Chapel Mary born Widow on her
Oath saith, That she has known the Deced
and Mr. Gunliffe Many Years, That she
called upon the Deced on Friday last in
the Afternoon, she found the Deced very
ill in Bed, having a complaint in her
Bowells, like the Chalick as she said
Says that she said to Deced that she hoped
it did not proceed from the hurt she
reced in her Eye; to which Deced answered
No No it was from the Complaint in her
Bowells, Says that she came again on
Saturday Morning and found the Deced
dead, Tha the Apothecary was fetched
who Examined the Deced, and found a
Bandage about her Waist and found a
Legs which was very light, and was cut by the
Apothecary who said That the Deced had a
Rupture, that the Bowells, were got out
of their Place and he believed were
Mortified, and that the Bandage was a
very improper one and had Deced informed
him of her complaint he would have
ordered her a Truss which night have
been of great Service to her, and said
that to believed the Rupture to be the
cause of Deced's death.

at the three Compasses in Silver Street on
her Oath Saith that she observed the Deced
had a Black Eye on Tuesday Morning the
Tenth Instant and Mr: Gunliff said that
he believed he had given it to her
but Dept. never saw the Gunliff strike the
Deced, says that Mr. Gunliff & this Dept.
were with the Deced on Saturday
Morning last when she died in
Convilins.

on his Oath saith That on Friday last the [..]
Instant this Dept. was desired to come to the Deced
That he went about half past Seven and found
her in Bed very low & was [..] complaining of a Sickness
at her Stomach and pain in her Bowels Says
that he ordered something to take, and was
informed that she took part of it, Says that he
[..] for the next Morning and found her dead
Says that he observed that the Deced had a
Black Eye, but saw no other Marks of violence
