Sarah Roberts< no role > late Servant to George Heming< no role > the
Deced in Piccadilly in the Parish of St. James Westmr. on her
Oath saith That she has lived ther upwards of one
Year, & an half, Says that the Deced has been ill
for at last four months last past, complaining of
a [..] pain in his Head and Bowels, Says that he
took Medicines from Mr: Ireland tht Apothecary
but Deced did not grow better but rather worse
Says that Yesterday Morning between Eight and
Nine o'clock Deced went out Saying that he was
going into St. James's Market to Settle some
dispute there between two Lodgers (Deced being
Clerk of the Market) Says that he returned in about
a Quarter of an hour, finished his Breakfast and
Dressed himself, and when Dept. came in from
the Door She saw Deced sitting in a'Chair in the
Parlour holding his Hand to his Head and complaining
of a violent pain in his Bowels and appearing
to be very uneasy, at the same time Dept. saw a
Glass upon the Mantle piece, which was usually in
Deced's Closet and having about a Tea Spoonful
of clear water in it, Says that Mrs. Heming Hent
Dept. to fetch Mr. Ireland the Apothecary who came
immediately and suspecting that the Deced had
taken something sent this Deponent to both the
Chymists Shop in the Hay Market to enquire
whether the Deced had bought any thing there
that Morning and was told that he had not, and
Dept. has no other reason to suspect that the Deced
Had taken any thing to cause his Death than that
the Glass being found on the Mantle piece, and
Deced told Dept. that he had only drank some Water
out of the Glass Says that the Deced grew very
Drowsy and Sleepy and died about One o Clock
that Afternoon, Says that the Deced has at times
in the last four Months been Delirious particularly
of late; Says that the Deced was very much
Convicted for about two hours before he died

of St. George Hanover Square Silver Smith on his Oath
Saith That he has known George Heming< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. the Deced
upwards of Thirty Years, and saw him almost
every Day (Sundays Exepted) Says that for
about two months last past the Deced complained
of a violent Scorbutic Disorder; That about three
weeks ago he complained of a violent pain in
his Head and Bowels which continued, And Dept.
Says that the Deced had lost his Memory and
was in capable of doing Business; and Dept.
believes that the Deced was at times Disordered
in his Mind.
