Informations taken his thirteenth day of
November 1783 at the Parish of St. James within
the Liberty of Westmr. in the County of Midsex
upon an Inquisition touching the death of George
Heming
< no role > lying dead in the said Parish Liberty
and County

Edward Ireland< no role > of Pall Mall Apothecary on his Oath
Saith That he has attended George Heming< no role > the Deced
as Apothecary, who had an Inflammatory Hamour
which broke out in Bails in different parts of
his Body, Says that he saw the Deced about
once in three days and sent him Medicines
That the Deced grew rather better but had
Irruptions upon his Arm, which made the
Deced uneasy, Says that about half past Nine
oClock yesterday Morning the Deced's Maid Servt.
came to Dept. desiring him to came to her Master
immediately upon which he went & found the
Deced sitting in his Chair, and Dept. was informed
that he Deced had taken but the Deced gave
him no Answer, Says that he gave Deced strong
Emeticks in order to make him Vomit and
repeated them for sometime without Effect, Says
that an his saying to Deced how wrong it was to
take any thing that might destroy him, Deced
only said that he had Settled that with himself,
Says that the Deced grew Drowsy, and heavy
and died about One o'Clock as Dept. was informed,
and Dept. believes that the Deced died in consequence
of what he had taken, and from the Deceds beings
so Drowry Dept. thinks that it might [..] have been
Landanum Says that he observed the Deced
to be Agitated in his [..] at times, and uneasy
as if some thing dweit upon it.
