Informations taken this Thirteenth
day of October 1783 at the Parish of St.
Margaret within the Liberty of Westmr .
in the County of Midsex upon an Inquisition
touching the death of a Woman unknown
lying dead in the said Parish Liberty
and County.

Archdall Harris< no role > of New Palace Yard Westmr.
Surgeon on his Oath saith That he this day
Examined the Body of a Woman unknown in
the Work house belonging to the Parish of St. Margaret
Westmr . and found no Marks of violence there upon
and Dept. believes that the Deced died a
natural Death.

John Wildman< no role > a Watchman of the Parish of
St. Margaret Westmr. on his Oath saith That
he was upon Duty on Saturday Night las the
Eleventh Instant and when he was crying the
hour of Ten he saw the Deced standing in King
Street opposite to Gardener's Lane , appearing
to her very much in Liquor, Says that about
Eleven o'Clock Deced came to the End of Great
George Street and sat down near to Depts.
watch Box, That he spoke to her and Deced
made some Answer which Dept did not
understand, That two Patrole man about Eleven come by &
spoke, to Deced, asking what is the Matter
and Deced Growled, upon which the Patrole
said they would send her to Bridewell That
me ofthe Patrolemen, come again between
two and three o Clock and one of them
lefted the Deced from Sr. Meyricks Barrell< no role > 's Door
and sot her against Dept. Box and left
her there, appearing to be in Liquor and
