Informations taken this Seventh
day of March 1783 at the Parish of St. Margt.
within the Liberty of Westmr . in the County of
Midsex upon an Inquisition touching
the death of William Easley< no role > lying dead
in the said Parish Liberty & County.

Charles Brandon Trye< no role > House Surgeon at
the Westmr. Hospital in the Parish of St. Margaret
Westmr . on his Oath saith That on [..] Tuesday Morning
the 25th. day of February last William Easley< no role >
the Deced was brought to said Hospital as
an Accident his Legs and Feet being very
much Burnt, from their being exposed
to the Fire on Board a Barge in the
River Thames upon Mill Bank as Deced was
informed Deponent, That in consequence
thereof he was on Wednesday last (March 5.)
Seized with a Lock Jaw of which he
died Yesterday in the Afternoon the
Sixth Instant.

Rope maker on her Oath saith That her Son
William Easley< no role > the Deced worked on Board
Mr. Corbett of [..] Barge upon the River Thames ,
Says that the Deced had had several Fits
and that she was informed by Mr. Corbett
that while he was absent from the Barge
on Tuesday Morning the 25th. day of February
last the Deced had a Fit and that his Feet
and Legs were much Burnt, and that he was
carried to the Westmr. Hospital, where she saw
the Deced in the Hospital, and that the
