the Deced afterwards grew rather better
Says that after four o'Clock they went
into a Publick House at the End of Monmouth
Street where they drank two Pots of Purl
and Eat some Bread & Cheese Says that the
Deced was Sick there and Vomited and
appeared to be ill and Sleepy, Says that
the Deced went out alone a little before
Seven o'Clock Yesterday Morning and Dept. followed and went
to Mr. Michells and in a few Minutes the
Deced came there saying that he had been
at a Barber's next Door, and that he was
very ill, Says that the Deced went into
a Bed there and Dept. lay down upon the
same Bed, (there being another Man in
Bed,) Says that Deced desired the Young
Man to make room for him, that he was
very ill and thought he should not get the
better of it, Says that the Deced dropped
asleep and Dept. got up in about an hour
and an half and went to his Business
leaving the Deced asleep. And Dept. was
informed that the Deced died Yesterday
in the Afternoon, And Says that the Deced
appeared to be quite well when he went
from Mr. Michells with Pollard and this
Dept. about Twelve o'Clock Yesterday Morning
and believes that the hurt he reced by the
fall abovementioned in the Strand was
the cause of Deced's death, and that it was
merely Accidental.

on his Oath saith That Yesterday Morning
between six & seven o'Clock the Deced came
into Mr. Mare's Shop That the Deced said
he

he was very Cold and wished to go to the Fire
Says that he was very bad and thought he
Shod. not live long, That he was running
in the Strand with his two Companions
and that he ran against a Post there,
and had hurt his Head very much, Says
that the Deced Vomitted Blood in Deced's
Shop. Says that he observed Mr. Michell's
House was open, of which he acquainted
Deced, and he went to Mr. Michells Says
that the Deced was very Sleepy in Depts. Shop

on his Oath saith That he this day Examined
the Body of the Deced and found no external
Marks of violence thereupon, and Dept. [..] that
the Deced reced a Concussion of the Brain
which cauced his Death
