Information taken this Fifth
of February 1783 at the Parish of
St. Margaret within the Liberty
of Westminster in the County of
Middlesex upon an Inquisition
touching the death of John Victualer< no role >
lying dead in the said Parish
Liberty and County.

Charles Brandon Trye< no role > House Surgeon at
the Westminster Hospital in the Parish of
St. Margaret Westminster on his Oath saith
That on Tuesday Morning the Twenty eighth
day of January last John Victualler the Deced
was brought to said Hospital as an accident
being burnt in his face Legs Thighs and
Part of the Body Says that the Deced was
then Sensible and told Dept. that he was
at work the Preceding Evening at the
Powder Mills upon Hounslow, Heath in the
County of Middlesex That some Part of
the Mill took After that there was a considerable
explusion, and Deced was thereby burn [..]
in the Parts abovementioned, Says that
all proper Care was taken of the Deced
in the Hospital but Deced died there
on the fourth say of this instant February
and Dept. believes the Deced died of the
Injury he reced as abovementioned
