the Bed Cloaths, Says that she asked Deced
how it happened, and he said it was an
Accidental thing, Says that a Surgeon was
fetched who Served up the Wound in Deced's
Throat, and attended him afterwards until
Deced's death which happened about Two
o'Clock yesterday Morning the Seventeenth
Instant, Says that she believes the Deced
gave himself the wound in the Throat
which caused his death, That she saw a
Razor afterwards Bloody (Which she was
informed was taken out of the Deced's
Wastcoat Pocket by the Surgeon) and Dept
believes that the wound was given with
that Razor, Says that the Deced after he
was Seized with the violent Trembling on
Thursday Morning, appeared to be much
disturbed, and Dept. Says that she heard
the Deced tell the Clergyman (who asked
him how he came to do that Act) that he
was Insane.

Thomas Atkinson< no role > of Berwich Street in the
Parish of St. James Westmr. Glazier on his
Oath saith That Thomas Ireland< no role > the Deced
has lodged in Dept. House upwards of
two months last past, Says that he was at
home last Thursday (Jany. 13th.) and believes
that the Deced gave himself the wound in the
Throat which caused his Death, Says that
the Surgeon the same Morning took a Razor
Bloody out of the Deced's Waistcoat [..] Pocket
in Dept. presence, with which he believes the wound
was given, Says that he was present on
Sunday last when Mr. Mainwaring a Clergyman
asked Deced how he came to do that Act, and
Deced Answered that he was Insane of that time.
