An Inquisition Indented, taken for our Sovereign Lord the
King, at the Parish of Saint Margaret
within the Liberty of the Dean and Chapter of Collegiate Church of St. Peter, Westminster ,
in the County of Middlesex , the Twelfth day of January in the Nineteenth Year
of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third, by the Grace of God, of Great-Britain,
France and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, and so forth, before Thomas Prickard< no role > , Gentleman,
Coroner of our said, Lord the King for the said City and Liberty, on View of the Body of
Robert Bigby< no role > then and there lying dead, upon the Oath of John Blatch< no role > This name instance is in set 18471847.

chosen, who being then and there duly sworn and charged to enquire for our said Lord the
King, when, how, and by what Means the said Robert Bigby< no role > came to
his Death, do upon their Oath say, That the said Robert Bigby< no role > on the
Sixth day of January in the Year aforesaid, being in Liquor, and
getting over the Wooden Rails before his Dwelling House in
Barton Street in the Parish of St. John The Evangelist within the
Liberty and County aforesaid, in order to go into the said House,
It so happened that the said Robert Bidgby then and there
Accidentally Casually and by Misfortune fell off and from the
said Wooden Rails unto the upon the Stone Pavement in the
Area of the said House, and thereby then and there received one
Mortal Wound and Fracture in the upon the Right side of his Head, of which
said mortal Wound and Fracture he the said Robert Bigby< no role > from the said
Sixth day of January in the Year aforesaid until the Twelfth
day of the same Month and Year at the said Parish of St. Margaret
within the Liberty and County aforesaid did languish and
languishing did live, on which said Twelfth day of January in
the Year aforesaid at the said Parish of St. Margaret within
the Liberty and County aforesaid he the said Robert Bigby< no role > of
the mortal Wound and Fracture aforesaid did die. And so
the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid do say, that
the said Robert Bigby< no role > in Manner and by the Means aforesaid
Accidentally Casually and by Misfortune came to his death
and not otherwise. In Witness whereof as well the
said Coroner as the said John Blatch< no role > This name instance is in set 18471847. Foreman of the said
Jurors, on the behalf of himself and the rest of his said
Fellows in their presence have to this Inquisition set
their Hands and Seals the Day Year and Place abovementioned.
