Allham Corbett< no role > Beadle of St. Margaret
Westmr . on his Oath saith, that Mr. Jones
belonging to Mr. Moon Keeper of Hyde Park
on Saturday last (Novr. 21.) came to Dept.
and acquainted him that a Child lay
Drowned in Hyde Park , upon which he
went with Mr. Jones and at the Head of
the Serpentine River found a Child lying
on the Ground upon a piece of a Sack cloth,
in the Parish of St. Margaret Westmr . Says
that he carried the Female Child to the Bone hence
at Knights bridge , and that it was the
same Child now produced before the Jury.
and that he observed no marks of violence
upon the said Child

Westmr. Surgeon on his Oath Saith that he this
day Examined a Female Child before the Jury
and found no external Marks of violence
upon the Child, That he afterwards opened the
Body, and tryed the usual Experiment of putting
the Lungs into water, when they Sunk
immediately, from whence Dept. is of Opinion
that the Child was still Born, and Dept. does
not think that the Child was come to Moturity
