and distracted, on the Twelfth day of October in the Year
aforesaid at the Parish aforesaid within the Liberty and
County aforesaid, one End of a certain Piece of Small Cord
unto an Iron Hook fastened into the Wainscot in the Lodging-
-room or Apartment of him the said

the other End thereof about his own Neck, did fix tye and
fasten, and therewith did then and there hang suffocate and
strangle himself, of which said Hanging Suffocation and
Strangling he the said

And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid do say
that the said

in Manner and by the Means aforesaid did kill himself.
