Verdict of the Jury touching the Death of Samuel
Castleden

That the said Samuel Castleden< no role > a Boy of the Age of Eleven
Years being Bathing in a certain River called the River Thamas
near to Lord Lincolns Causeway in the Parish of St. Margaret
Westminster on the 19th. day of August 1778, it so happened
that accidentally casually and by Misfortune he the Said Saml.
Castleden
< no role > was in the Waters of the said River then and there
Suffocated and Drowned of which Said Suffocation and Drowning
he the Said Samuel Castleden< no role > then and there instantly Died.
And so the Jurors on their Oath say that the Said Samuel
Castleden
< no role > in manner and by the Means aforesaid accidentally
Casually and by Misfortune came to his Death and not otherwise
In Witness where of the Norman on behalf of himself and that
rest of the Jurors has hereunto set his Hand this 20th, day
of August 1778.
