Informations taken this Sixteenth
day of March 1778 at the Parish of St.
George Hanover Square with the Liberty
of Westmr . in the County of Midsex upon
an Inquisition touching the death of
William Knight< no role > and Henry
severally lynn dead in the said Parish
Liberty and County.

Thomas Garbett< no role > a Stone Mason on
his own Saith That on Tuesday last
the 10th Instant Dept. was at work for
Mr. Gillam at Somerset House , That
William Knight< no role > the Deced, likewise
a Mason, was at work there on that day
That in the Afternoon Deced was going
up a Ladder towards the top of his
Building having a pair of Bellows
under his left Arm an something
in his April, Says that the Deced
was got near to the top of the Building
and missing his hold, he fell down
and thereby reced a Wound & Fracture in his
Forehead, the Deced being then Speachless
and unable to move, Says that the
Deced was sent the same Night to St.
George's Hospital , where he died on
Saturday the 14th. Instant as Dept.
was informed. Says that the Deced
was well before he fell down. & believes
that his Death was caused by the Wound
& Fracture abovementioned
