Calling the Hour of Ten hearing a Rattle and Watch called he went,
to the Door of a House in Oxford Street near Bird Street
a Woman who lived in the Cellar named Warner gave
him Charge of Jack Mash< no role > , upon which he the deceased
Collared Mash when he received a blow on the Neck and
he thought from Jack Mash, just after some other
Persons pulled the Deceased backwards and he beleived
his Heels were tripped up by some of those Persons and
by that fall hurt his Head, Deponent then asked him
if he thought his side was hurt by falling on the Stones
he said No, that it was done by Mash's falling upon
him, Deponent asked Deceased if he was sure it was
done by Mash's falling upon him, he said Yes, for as he
had fast hold of Mash's Collar he camepulled Mashdown
with him, Deponent asked Deceased if he thought Mash
did fall on him for the purpose, and he answered Mash
Could not help coming down with him as he had fast
hold of his Collar, Deceased was perfectly Sensible at
this time.
