Says that he ordered the Child to be washed
and then carefully Examined the Male Child
in the Dead House within the Workhouse
belonging to the Parish of St. Martin in the
Fields
, and found no Marks of violence
thereupon, Says that the Child was Cold & appeared to
have been dead a day, That the Novel
String was not field That the Child was
come to Maturity and Dept. believes
that the Child was born alive.
