Informations taken this Eighteenth
day of October 1776 at the Parish of St
George Hanover Square within the Liberty
of Westmr . in the County of Midsex upon
an Inquisition touching the death of
Richard Pidgeon< no role > lying dead in the said
Parish Liberty and County.

James Stone< no role > Servant to William Guest< no role > of the
Parish of St. George Hanr. Square Cowkeeper on his
Oath saith. That he was yesterday in the Afternoon
in Mr. Guest's Cowhouse in Park lane in said Parish
Says that he saw Richard Pidgeon< no role > the Deced (a Lad
about Eight Years old,) playing in the yard on the outside
of the Cowhouse Says that he was letting the Cows
out of the Cowhouse to go to Grass Says that he
was driving outsomeof the Cows and seeing
one of the Cows butting another with her Ho [..]
he went forwards in order to make them quiet
and saw the Deced lying down in the Stall of
one of the Cows in the Cowhouse upon his
right side; Says that he called the Deced but
he did not speak or move Says that he was warm
but Dept. Saw no Signs of life, Says that he called
William Pearce< no role > his Fellow Servant who was at
the other End of the Cowhouse, who came there to
Deced, And Dept. believes that the Deceasedone of the Cows
must either have been tossed or kicked by
one of the Cows, which he believes caused the
Deced's death.

William Pearce< no role > Servant to Mr. Quest on his
Oath saith, That yesterday in the Afternoon Dept.
was in his Master & Cowhouse letting out the Cows
Says that Richard Pidgeon< no role > the Deced was at his
End
