Informations taken this Sixth day
of June 1776 at the Parish of St. Martin
in the Fields within the Liberty of Westmr
touching the death of Thomas Iton lying
dead in the said Parish Liberty & County

William Glascock< no role > on his Oath Saith That
he has been in the Work house of the Parish of St.
Martin in the Fields about Sixteen Years
That on Monday last June 3d. in the Afternoon Thomas
Iton the Deced was brought to said Workhouse
by two Men, having a Fever as Dept. understood
age that the Deced was in the same Ward
(being the Sick Ward ) with Dept. That the
Deced Yesterday Morning (June 5th.) very
early got up and went into another Ward
and in about ten Minutes was brought
in again by his Men and put into Bad, where he laid
down about half an hour, Then started up
or his Knees and pushed up the Sash of
[..] of the Windows rear his Bed and Immediately went
out through the Window, and threw himself
down into the Yard, upon which Dept. called
out Murder, and in about a Quarter of an
hour the Deced was brought into the Ward
again, being quite Delirious, and having
a Bruise upon his Head, Says that the Deced
was restless and out of his Mind on Tuesday
owing to the violence of the Fever as Dept.
believes
