Says that in about ten Minutes the Deced
and went went out again and this dept. soon
followed, and found west upon the Stairs and
the deced by the side of the Barge. That the
Deced got upon the Barge and said. come George,
let us take a walk on the Barges which Dept.
did, and they both walked the length of four
Barges, that they both went in to a Boat that
was Chained there to a lighter and staid there about
five Minutes, That Dept., then got into a Lighter
and as he walked along it towards the Shore
his foot slipped, and dept, looked around and
saw the Deced in another Lighter stooping
down but Dept did not speak to him, and
went to the Shore along the Lighters, the Tide
being then Flowing, Says that Honver who
was upon the shore asked Dept. where Rowlet
was, and called Rowlet three times and having
no Answer dept. went bach upon the Lighters
to see for Deced and called to him several times
but could neither see or hear of him, and
Dept. then thought that the Deced was either
Drowned in the River Thames or gone to shore
over the Lighters to Hungerford Stairs . Says
that they all went away. That he did not
afterwards see the Deced alive, That he was told
afterwards that the Deced was found Drowned
in the River Thames near the Place where dept. saw
him walk upon the Lighter, and that Dept. does believes
the Deced Accidentally fell from the lighter into the
River and was drowned no person being at that
him in the Lighter with Deced.
