Informations taken this Eighth day of
April 1775 at the Parish of St. George Hanover
Square within the Liberty of Westmr. in the
County of Midsex upon an Inquisition touching
the death of Thomas Heath< no role > lying dead in
the said Parish Liberty and County

John Dansewall< no role > Servant to William Heath< no role > Esqr
Brother to Thomas Heath< no role > Deced on his Oath
saith, That he has been with his Master at the
Green Park Coffee house about three weeks, That
the Deced came to Town about nine days age and
has lodged ever since at said Coffee hose exalphing one Night and Slept
in the same Room with Mr. William Heath< no role > , Says
that he was not at the Coffee house on Thursday
night last, but came there yesterday (April 7.)
about Twelve o' Clock at Room and found his
Master Dressed in his Bed chairs her talking to
the Deced (who was in his Bed) in a very friendly
manner, Says that in about five Minutes this
Dept. came down Staris and his Master followed in
about three Minutes after and in a very short
time rode out in his Carriage, That Dept. went
out and returned thereof about three o' Clock and these took
two pair of Shoes into Deced's Bedchamber and
on the Floor there saw the Deced lying on his back
and a great deal of Blood upon the Glass and
on the Floor, the Deced having on his Shirt [..]
which was Bloody but Dept. did not their observe
the Wound in Deced's Throat, Says that he was much
frightened, called out, and the Chambermaid
and two Men at work in the next Room came
in and saw the Deced, Says that the Deced
appeared to be dead, That a Surgeon was fetched
who said that he could have been of no Service
if he had been there when the wound was given
