Informations taken this Sixth day of June
1774 at the Parish of St. Margaret within the
Liberty of Westmr . in the County of Midsex upon
an Inquisition touching the death of William
Barron
< no role > lying dead in the said Parish Liberty
and County.

Isabella< no role > the Wife of Alexander Clarke< no role > of Orchard Street in
the Parish of St. Margaret Westmr . on her Oath saith. That
She has known William Barron< no role > the Deced several Years
That the Deced came to her House on Tuesday the 31st day
of May last in the Afternoon and desired that he might
sleep in her House which she agreed to and Deced slept
there that Night, lay in Bed on Wednesday & Thursday
saying that he was not well, That he got up on Friday
and was with Dept. that day, Slept there that Night
and Breakfasted in Bed on Saturday Morning June 4th
between Nine & ten o' Clock, Says that the Deced lay
in Bed Says that between ten & Eleven o'Clock she
sent her little [..] up Stairs to know if Deced wanted an [..]
who returned and said that the Deced's Room Door
was Lock'd Says that she sent the Child again at
Eleven and Twelve o'Clock who returned saying
the Deced was still asleep and the Door Street, Says
that Hugh Hay< no role > an Acquaintance of the Deced came
in about One o'Clock and a little after she Desired
him to go to see if the Deced was awake, which
Hay accordingly did, Says that Hay returned
immediately saying that the Deced had Hanged himself
upon which Dept. sent for Mr. Robinson, who came
there with some Others and went up Stairs into
Deced's Room, and when Mr. Robinson returned he told
Dept. that he found the Deced Hanging and that he was
cut down and Dept. soon after saw the Deced laid upon
the Bad, that hears [..] dead and Dept. believes that the Deced Hanged himself
Says that the Deced has been at times Melancholy and
low Spirited, for some Years, and gave incoherent
Answers, and appeared to Dept. to be Disordered in
