Saith That he has known the Deced some Years, That
he called at Mr. Clarkes on Thursday last and was
informed that Mr. Barron was there in Bed, That he
called there last Saturday (June 4.) and after staying
a little tune with Mr. Clarke, She told him that Mr.
Barron was in Bed and his Room Door lacked and
desired Dept. to go up Stair to call him That he want and finding
the Door Locked and the Key in the Lock on the inside
Says that he looked thro' a Hole in the Door and saw
the Deced Hanging in the Room at the Head of the
Bed Says that he informed Mrs. Clark thereof
and immediately called Mr. Robinson and some
Soldiers who come there and forced open a Door
into Deced's Room where he hung by his Hand [..] kering
around his Neck to which his Garters were tied at
one End and the other End fastened to an Iron Spike
drove into the Quarter Partition at the Head of the
Bed, Says that one of the Soldiers cut the Garters
and Deced was laid upon the Bed, being quite Dead
and Cold and Dept. believes that the Deced hanged
himself. And Dept. [..] Says that the Deced was at
times Melancholy and low Spirited and appeared
to be at times Disordered in his Mind
