Informations taken this Fourteenth
day of December 1773 at the Parish of St. George
Hanover Square within the Liberty of Westmr.
in the County of Middlesex upon on Inquisition
touching the death of a Man unknown
lying dead in the said Parish Liberty
and County.

Pennell Cole< no role > House Surgeon at St. George's
Hospital in the Parish of St. George Hanover Square
on his Oath saith That on Saturday last (Decr 11th)
the Deced was brought to said Hospital by some
Laborers, who said that a Gentleman saw the
Deced Jump into a Pond near the Bridge
in Hyde Park , That the Deced was taken out
of the Water, and that they had carrid [..] him to
the Hospital, And this Dept. says that the Deced
was dead and had not any Signs of Life when
he was brought to the Hospital, Says that he
bled the Deced and used all Proper means
for his Recovery, without Effect.
