Mr. Jones was going to discharge him, but did not
Says that about Ten o'Clock he heard Mrs. Jones say
to the Deced, who was in the Yard near the Cellar
Stairs, that he should go to Bed, to which he answered
that he would smoke his Pipe first, Says that
soon after he this Dept. was going into the Cellar
to draw some Beer and at the bottom of the Stairs
saw the Deced lying, upon which he called the
Porter at the Gate who came in and saw the
Deced lying upon his face, and his feet towards
the Cellar Stairs, Say that the Deced this at the Nose
and that there was a great deal of blood upon the Ground, Says that
the Deced was helped up Stairs and that Mrs. Jones
washed his face, Says that he saw no Person go
to the Deced who was smoking in the Yard, and
Dept. verily believes that the Deced Accidentally fell
down Stairs, and Says that the Deced was very
well before the Accident happened, And says that the
Deced walked up a Ladder that Night in order to go to
Bed in a left over the Lodge. Says that the Deced died at
the Workhouse Yesterday a Dept. was informed

William Wrenn< no role > Servant to Mrs. Jones as Porter at
the Mews Gate on his Oath saith, That on Thursday
Evening last about Ten o'Clock he heard Mrs. Jones
desire the Deced to go to Bed,who was thenSays that
in about half on hour Jasper Spencer< no role > came to him
and desired him to came and see the Deced, whom
he found lying in the Cellar upon his fare with his
feet towards the Stairs, Says that he Bled at the Nose
& Month as Dept. thought, and much blood in the Celler
Says that the Deced was helped up Stairs, and Mrs.
Jones Washed his face, Says that he saw the Deced the
next Morning who told Dept. that he was going to
reach his Apron which was upon the Shelf over the
Cellar

Cellar Stairs and that he fell Stairs. and
Dept. believes that he Accidentally fell down Stairs
