6th, August 1773 .

Verdict of the King touching the Death of Charles Stapleton< no role >
That the said Charles Stapleton< no role > on the 5th, day of August
1773 going into the Serpentine River in Hyde Park in the
Parish of St. George Hanover Square in the Liberty of Westmr
there to Bath himself it so happened that the Charles
Stapleton
< no role > was accidentally casually and by Misfortune
in the Waters of the said River suffocated & Drowned
of which said Suffocation and Drowning he the said
Charles Stapleton< no role > then and there Died. And so the Jurors
on their Oath say that the said Charles Stapleton< no role > in
Manner & by the means aforesaid accidentally casually
and by Misfortune came to his Death and not otherwise
In Witness whereof the Foreman of the Jurors on behalf
of the rest of the Jurors has hereunto set his hand this
6th. day of August 1773.
