Informations of Witnesses taken and
acknowledged this 29th. day of July 1773 , at
the Parish of St. George Hanover Square in the
said Liberty at the Dwelling House of Mr,
William Mansfield< no role > the Sign of the Coach
and Horses in Mount Street . Before Thomas
Prickard
< no role > Gentleman His Majestys' Coroner for
the City and Liberty of Westminster touching the
Death of Sarah Downes< no role > then and there lying
Dead as follow

Alexander Whetherston< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. of Chelsea Gentleman on his Oath says
that on Tuesday last in the Evening about Nine or later he
was coming up the Kings Private Road from Pimblico, he saw
two women together one of which (the Deced) seemed very much
distressed & the other Woman had hold of her ann endeavouring
to use her, shetheyasked Deponents assistance,Deponent asked
Deponent hesitated a little but upon Reflection thought he
was Bound from Humanity to give his Assistance he went
and laid hold of the Deceds other Arm and assisted to Raise her
she rested leaning a sniall space of time against the Bank,
