James Pounds< no role > Son of Mr. Pounds Shoemaker in Labour and Varn
Alley, but the other Man she does not know, says the Men
went away and came again and behaved very rude wanting to Lye
with her, says after the Man left her the first time She Deced
lay shoring a sleep, says at half an hour after 12 o Clock she
heard the Watchmen says the Deceased was Dead.

says that on Monday Night last about a quarter before Twelve
she saw the Deced go into Mr. Plants the Kings head Alehouse
the other cornor of George & Plow Yard and two Men with her, one
of the Men is named Pound a Shoemaker and the other Man she does not know she Law the Deced
and the two Man drink several times out of a Glass at the
Bar, the Deced in particular drank most, the Men offered her
Several Glasses more than the Deponent thought was right, and
the Deceased took them herself, the Land lady served the Liquor

herself, the Deponent hard the Landlady say to the two Men
take her out and carry her over the Way and Set her on them Steps
the Men brought her out of the House lay force, and laid her under
the Deponents Kitchen Window, they then [..] tried to pull her up
again and she fell down with her Head lower, says the Men
as will as the Woman in her Opinion was much in Liquor, says
the Men did not strike her any Blows, but behaved in a very
indecent manner by pulling up her Cloaths, says they went away
and came a second time and used her indecently, DeponentDecedcalled
the Watchman and he came and put her Cloaths to rights as well
as he could, the Daced was than alive, and when the Watchmen
came at half an hour after Twelve the DeponentDecedheard them say the
Deceased was Dead. says she saw the Landlady come out of
the House and looked at the Deced and laughed and afterwards
went up into her Room and looked out of her Window and Laughed.
