of February 1773 at the Parish of St. George
Hanover Square within the Liberty of Westmr .
in the County of Midsex upon an Inquisition
touching the Death of John Milbourn< no role > lying
dead in the said Parish Liberty and County.

Joseph Mathews< no role > Servant to John Duggins< no role > one of [..]
Keepers of Hyde Park at the Gate at Hyde park Corne [..]
on his Oath saith That Yesterday Morng (Feby. 16) between
Nine and ten o'Clock a Soldier and a Gentlemen's
Servant came to Dept. and informed him that a Person
was Drowned in a [..] ond in Hyde Park , brought a Hat &
Wig with them, and desired Dept. to go and get the
Body out, which he did and in a Pond near the
Serpentine River in Hyde Park nearest to the Shore
in the parish of St. George Hanover Square he saw the
Deced Lying upon his f [..] Say, that he borrowed Mr. Chandler's Boat [..]
went to the Deced got hold of him and pulled him
to the Shore in the Parish of St. George Hanor. Square
Say that he was dead and appeared to have been
Drowned some time, but Dept. observed no Marks
of violence upon the Deced.
