Elizabeth< no role > the Wife of Charles Wilkinson< no role > on her Oath saith
That she has Nursed Mr. Pawley in his Illness about three
weeks Says that the Deced lay down upon a Bed in the
Room with Dept. from twelve o'Clock last Night until
about three o'Clock, when she appeared to be very uneasy
and disturbed in her Mind, then went out into the Room
two pair of Stairs and lay down there, That she came again
into this Dept. about half hour after Seven o'Clock this
Morning looked much frightened and said that she would
go to her Sister's taking up her Hot & Clock three times &
laid them down again, Says that when she this Dept. was
busy with Mr. Pawley the Deced went out of the Room
Says that in about ten Minutes, Dick, Mr, Pawley's Boy
came to Dept. Saying that he believed his Mistress had
hanged herself in his Garret, upon which she went up
to the Garret with the Boy and saw the Deced Hanging appearing to be upon her Knees.
but went not to her, Says that she called Mr. Bates
who went up immediately, and afterwards told this
Dept. that the Deced was dead, and Dept. believes that
the Deced Hanged herself, and that She was Disordered in her
Senses.

William Bates< no role > Victualler at the Dog and Brick in King
Street in the Parish of St. Margt. Westmr . on his Oath saith
That between Seven and eight o'Clock this Morning he
was called up by Mrs. Wilkinson who informed him that
Mrs. Pawley had Hanged herself upon which he went up
into the Garret and saw the Deced Hanging by a Garter fastened
to a Wooden Rail for Clock Pins and about her Neck
Says that the Boy fetched a Knife with which Dept. out the
Garter and laid the Deced down Says that Mr. Churchill was
fetched who bled the Deced, and She bled about a Spoonful
but Deced was dead, and Dept. believes that she Hanged
herself, Says that the Deced has appeared to be uneasy
and disturbed in her Mind for a few days past, and believes [..]
that the Deced was at times out of her Mind
