. in the Capacity of Porter on his Oath saith
That William Pearson< no role >
the Deced was Under Butler to Mr.
Elletson, and lived Servant there upwards of two Years
Says that the Deced has been ill about two Months
last past and that the Deced told this Dept. that he had
the foul Disease, and Dept. was with Deced when he
Agreed with Dr. Henry in Orange Street
to Cure him
of that Disease, Says that the Deced took some Medicine
of the Doctor for that purpose, but the Deced was very
bad, Says that he went into Deced's Bed Chamber Yesterday
Morning about a Quarter after five o'Clock to see how
the Deced was, who was then in great Agonies and
pain, and has Spit very much for about six weeks
says that he asked the Deced if he should be any thing
for him and Deced said, Nothing at that time, upon
which Dept. went out, and returned home about a
Quarter before Nine the same Morning, when the
Cook Maid asked him if he had seen the Deced, and said
that Deced told her that he was going to his Doctor
says that Dept. soon after went to Dr. Henry and was
informed that the Deced had not been there, Says that
he aftewards looked for the Deced in his Master's
House, and a little after Twelve o'Clock at Noon
he found the Deced Hanging by a Cord which was
fastened about his Neck and around a Beam in the
