Informations of Witness taken this 3d. day
of August 1772 , in the Parish of St, George
Hanover Square at the Dwelling House of Mr,
Munday the Sign of the Queens head in Piccadilly
Before Thomas Prickard< no role > Gentleman His Majesty's
Coroner for the City and Liberty of Westminster
touching the Death of Owen Leonard< no role > then and
there lying Dead as follow.

Joseph Dring< no role > of No. 3 Edwards Court near Portland Chapel on his
Oath says that on Thursday last between 10 & 11 in the Morning at
Lord Donegalls in St. James's Square , the Deceased had Leon on an
Errand for one of the Men and came up the Pand Stain Case
and coming down round the back Stair Case, there was a Scaffold
raised about two foot pan the Landing and going to creep under the
said Scaffold he laid one of his hands on the canon of the Scaffold
board's & the other hand on the carnor of the Stone Steps, and lost
his hold with his left hand on the Scaffold board and his hand
falling from the Scaffold he could not Recover himself and so fell down
on the Stone Steps from one Landing to the other the Deponent was about there Yards and a half

from the Deced on the Landing Place with a Pact of Water for the
Men who were at work as Plaistrers on the said Scaffold, the Depont.
called to the Men who were at work on the Scaffold and they
immediately came and took him up, and Deponent went and fetched
a Surgeon who Bled him, and was afterwards carried to St. George's Hospital

Pennell Cole< no role > House Surgeon to St. George's Hospital on his Oath [..]
that the Deced was housful into the St. Hospital Thursday lastat
in the Morningknight, he appeared to have a large Fracture on his head, a large
peice of Bone which had touched the Brain was taken out, and the
Fracture extended down from the Eye toward the lower part of the
Shall, that the deced did on Saturday Morning last and that he
verily believes the said Fracture to be the cause of his Death.

William Robson< no role > in little Castle Street Oxford Marker Plastrior on his Oath says
that on Thursday last about half an hour of her 9 in the Morning, he
heard a Noise but did not see the Deced till he saw him lying on
the Stone Steps below, the [..] Deponent and Mr. Lowett were at
Work on a raised Scaffold, Deponent when he heared the [..] Noise
